✧ DEVICES & NETWORK ✧
All characters receive a communications device with access to the network when they arrive. Posts may be made to the network as a whole; closed person-to-person communication is also available. Just indicate on your post to the community the level of security on the character's post. All messages no matter the medium or number of individuals involved have the name of the people participating tied to their contributions. The only time this may not be true is from the Agrii, or when involving an individual using the Communications datapoint. Those with Comms can change names of themselves or any other users, add color, and potentially hack into any private/filtered messages outside of Mass Sages (see below). For more information on what this or other expertises can do, please see the datapoints information page.
Your device also contains a full, annotated map of Temba. Those with the Comms datapoint would be able to read all information on this page, and questions can be posed to the mods for clarification.
Your communications device is a small, mostly transparent tablet with icons on it. The icons are:
NET WORK. - [A net on a cyan background] - (Hey! They almost spelled this one right!) The network for now is a place where you can make and read a feed of videos, live broadcasts, and static messages. Any top-level posted to the Net is seen by every comm as well as by the Agrii, though depending on security level they may not necessarily be accessed. So be careful what you post! [Note: All things posted to the network are permanently accessible unless specifically deleted by someone with a Comms datapoint expertise.]
DICK SHUN AIRY. - [A triad of hexagons arranged like a ... is that what you think it is? on a green background] - Of course. Opening this leads to a list that is filled in with all the heroes have discovered about the flora and fauna on this planet. Some even have pictures of the heroes as they tend the crops. And ... wait. Are those entries for the heroes themselves, too? Is that you? [Note: Hero entries include names and pictures, as well as current ship and datapoint. This seems to magically update the moment someone is moved between ships or changes datapoints. No further information is accessible, but hero entries will link into the abilitiy to directly contact them, see MASS SAGES.]
HE ROW COME YOU KNEE CAY SHUN. - [An Agrii smiley on a bright pink background] - What this means is anyone’s guess but it appears to be a way of directly talking to the Agrii. Will they respond? Will we learn more about them? Come you knee kate and find out!
MASS SAGES. - [A cross and leaves on an orange background] - (Which means they know what sage is! Who wants to ask the Soup Lies for some spices?) Opening this allows you to select another person’s comm and send a private message. Or what you hope is private. No saying what the Agrii can see or not see at this point.
CREW. - [A space ship on a purple background] - This icon links to a list of current ships and crews. It always provides an accurate and up to date listing of all individuals brought by the Agrii, their current datapoints, and their ship assignments.
For those characters who have difficulty reading English or require assistance in the form a Text-to-Speech system, Tony Stark created the Judicious Orator Network (also known as J.O.N.). This is symbolized by a button that looks like a pair of glasses in the bottom corner of every screen. People can highlight text before pushing this button to have the selected on screen text read aloud, or just push the button to have the entire page read until the button is once again pushed to stop the dictation. This will only read text on screen, and not text from images or written in the world at large. Currently the system sounds like Jonathan Sims. This program could be edited by other Communications data point users in the future.

Super-Belated Addition to Comm Device
Summarizing it:
This program can be used for taking notes or similar. Journals and records, or direct text communication without need for opening up the network or messaging options. You may write and keep files strictly to your devices but have the option to share them as attachments.
